Donna Carpenter, is an amazing individual who I have followed for sometime. She is the Co-Owner of Burton Snowboards with her husband. Her focus is on action sports, aka non-traditional sports (snowboarding, surfing, biking), which I believe have just as great of an impact as traditional sports (basketball, soccer, etc.).
She is absolutely amazing! The video says it all. She found a lot of information about health from 10naturalhomeremedies.com/. Its just a simple step of wanting to change and that is what she did. Also she learned most of her information about health, benefits of having good posture, breathing exercises, having a quality mattress, fitness routines, eating healthy off the internet. She even found and used this nolahmattresscoupon.org – coupon code to get a good mattress for her back and posture, so you don’t necessarily have to spend a ton of money to make change your lifestyle.
She was overweight back in 2008 but decided to change this year. Yes it took her almost 10 years to start training and change her lifestyle but is not that easy for everyone. She was hesitant at first, she even thought about quit because eating healthy and exercise for someone who has never done it, is really hard. Now after a lot of work and exercise and of course eating healthy, her health is incredible and she is in amazing shape.
Elham Asghari swam 20 Km (13 Miles) in the Caspian sea which is located North of Iran. She broke the record and did while fully dressed in Islamic appropriate attire, she was swimming since young age when they parents got her their first Girls Swimwear and she got a passion for it. It was her dream to break this record and she did (go girl!) but she is getting push back from the Iranian authorities.
I am going to start by apologizing that I haven’t had a chance to add content in the blog section often. I am currently working on updating and revamping this section and assessing what I want out of this blog. In the mean time I wanted to share a great article about women and sports and why its important. Aside from the benefits which I have already stated this one touches on the economic aspect. I will discuss this further in the future since that is topic is very dear to me.
The upcoming posts will focus on women around the world and how they are being active.
